product manager


An insightful, logical thinker who's a good listener and can drive the product life-cycle. The work includes collecting requirements and ideas from internal and external customers, writing descriptions, overseeing designs, choosing layouts and organizing post-release usability studies. This is a core business function that links business and technology and drives innovation across the company.

Job Specifications

  • To collect ideas and inputs about the esoko product from partners and users
  • To create a vision and roadmap for the product
  • To  translate business requirements into clear functional specifications
  • To organize regular usability testing to understand how people use the product, and suggest improvements
  • To track the development of features and functionality through the software development life-cycle
  • To maintain a product release schedule and communicate/set priorities for development
  • To facilitate effective communication between the technical and business teams on product issues

Person Specifications

  • Have a track record of project management experience (3-5 years)
  • Be able to multitask and organize multiple priorities
  • Proficient and active user of the web
  • Competent with MS Office, some design/layout software
  • Good instincts on usability and website designs (you will be tested!)
  • Ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete proposals
  • Good writing skills: clear, precise and logical
  • Passionate about how technology can improve lives
  • A good communicator that can build bridges between company departments
  • Ability to stay flexible, while maintaining deadlines
  • A Bachelors degree in anthropology, social science, computer science or equivalent
